Who am I?
The creative life is the only one I know. Never had a job other than writing or teaching writing.
I've worked for TV, video games, TRPGs, board game magazines, published traditionally and independently, built my own teaching company.
And I'm not stopping. The ONE thing that allows me to keep going is my crazy project management skills.
I geek out on efficiency techniques and system building. I joke that in a previous life, I must have been an engineer.
And then I realize: hey! Artists are strategic thinkers as well, don't give into the myth of the artist as eccentric and messy!
How I can help
We need to have strong organizational skills to make our things, wether we acknowledge them or not.
I used to keep it all in my head but the more project I juggle with the more I found the need for a tool to provide external support.
I've tried a lot of systems but most came with structures that simply didn't work for me.
With Notion, though, I've been able to create the structure that makes sense for me. And you can, too.
